There’s been a lot of talk around super changes that affect people who have balances over $1.6M, or who are taking a transition to retirement pension - but there are also some other changes that we all need to be aware of. These include:
- Changes to the spouse tax offset – this could affect you if you or your spouse earn less than $40,000
- New low income super tax offset contribution (LISTO) – if you earn less than $37,000 you might be eligible for this.
- Changes to personal super contributions deductions
- Changes to non-concessional contributions cap
